Specialised women’s health services
When it comes to your health, there are a number of women’s health issues that are specific to women alone. - Emergency contraception (also called the ‘morning after pill’)

- Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs – previously called STDs)
- Vaginal infections
- Termination counselling
- Contraception- as well as emergency contraception (3rdpoint)
- IUD insertion
- Mirena insertion/removal

St John Medical strives to provide affordable healthcare for all patients and bulk bills current Medicare card holders for Women’s Health services, as outlined in the Medicare Benefits Schedule. Some services will incur an out of pocket cost, please call the practice to discuss.
