Out of pocket charges now apply to all Urgent Care consultations. As of Saturday 15 October 2022, the out of pocket charge will change.

When it’s urgent but not an emergency, you can avoid queues at the Emergency Department and receive immediate care.

Cockburn Urgent Care is staffed by a team of highly skilled doctors and nurses that will be able to see and treat walk-in patients.
Attend in person or call for the following:

  • Possible sprains or broken bones
  • Cuts that need stitches or glue
  • Sports injuries
  • Minor eye and ear problems
  • Minor burns and scalds
  • Insect and animal bites
  • X-rays available on site

Attend Emergency Department or call triple zero (000) for:

  • Heart attack/chest pains
  • Inability to breathe
  • Collapse/seizure/stroke
  • Heavy bleeding
  • Serious head or neck injury
  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Severe stomach pain
  • Severe burns
  • Bleeding in pregnancy
  • Serious mental health problems
  • Poisoning or serious allergic reactions

Parking facilities
As part of the new Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre expansion, finding a parking bay is easy. 1,200 additional car bays plus over 450 undercover bays provide free parking for up to four hours.
